Electrolysis is a permanent method of removing individual hairs when a small fine needle inserted into the hair follicles under the surface of the skin. An electric current passes to the hair follicles, destroying the hair root. The follicle damage prevents hair from regrowth & causes the existing hair to fall out.
It is the only FDA method of permanent hair removal.
How it works?
Electrolysis uses three different methods of current to achieve the damage of hair follicles :
Galvanic : A direct electric current is passed from the needle into the hair follicles where it creates a strange interesting phenomena known as chemical reaction which converts salt water into sodium hydroxide (Lye) a caustic agent that destroys the hair follicles.
Thermolysis : Thermolysis method works on high frequency alternating current that is passed from the needle to the hair bulb this phenomena causes vibration in the cells of the hair follicles to produce enough heat to cauterize the hair follicles.
Blend Method : Blend method is combinations of both the above method.
